MEMBERSHIP DUES
TSCRA membership dues may be tax-deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense for federal income tax purposes; however, are not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. TSCRA engages in lobbying activities and therefore 5% of TSCRA membership dues is not deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Please consult your tax advisor for further details.
TSCRA PAC CONTRIBUTION
TSCRA membership dues include a contribution to Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Political Action Committee (TSCRA PAC) of 5 dollars per membership account. A TSCRA member may withhold this amount. Contributions to the TSCRA PAC are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of the Federal Election Campaign Act and state election laws.
