RAP Team and TSCRA Directors:

Please use this online form to recruit any new members and qualify them for the 2018 TSCRA Summer Membership Contest. The contest runs from June 15 - August 15, 2018. The winner will be announced at the Policy Conference on September 19 - 21, 2018. 

Prizes are as follows: 

  • One pair of custom Rios of Mercedes boots in calf, kangaroo or buffalo, provided by Trainor Evans. 
  • One TSCRA Registration package to include registrations to all TSCRA meetings in 2019, including Convention, Summer Meeting and Policy Conference. 

You must list your name in the Recruiter blank on the form to receive credit for the members you recruit.

MEMBERSHIP PAYMENTS

Payment of your dues, renderings, and magazine may be tax-deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense for federal income tax purposes; however, your dues, renderings, and magazine subscription are not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. In addition, a portion of your dues and renderings are not deductible as an ordinary and necessary expense of your business to the extent that TSCRA engages in lobbying activities. The nondeductible portion of your dues and renderings is 5%. Furthermore, your optional contribution to TSCRA PAC is not deductible as either a charitable contribution or a business expense. Please consult your tax attorney or tax advisor for further details.

1PAC CONTRIBUTIONS

Your membership dues include an optional contribution to Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Political Action Committee (TSCRA PAC) of 5 cents per head. You may deduct this amount from your total payment if you choose not to contribute to the TSCRA PAC. Contributions to the TSCRA PAC are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of the Federal Election Campaign Act and state election laws. State law requires best efforts to collect and report the full name and address, principal occupation or job title, and the full name of the employer of individual contributors.
